Learn with a Lawyer - Move on and DON'T DWELL in the Past!
Move on and don’t dwell on the past. Almost every person that walks into your office has some decision that they wish they would not have made. Some problem they wish they wouldn’t be in; you must convince the person to move on from what ever has caused them to walk into your office and start making positive decisions going forward. If a person sits around and dwells on the past about everything that has gone wrong in their life, they are not going to be able to move forward and have a positive outcome. This also translates into almost all communications you ever have with anyone outside of the legal profession. You must be able to leave bad things that happened in the past, if you don’t do that you will always be focused on the past, and you won’t be able to focus on the future.
