CRASH ALERT: ONE DEAD, TWO INJURED IN POSSIBLE DUI CRASH

KANSAS CITY, MO - An early morning crash this past Saturday killed one person and injured another two. According to the Kansas City Star, the accident occurred at around 4:30 a.m. on Saturday on Interstate 435. A Chevy Trax LT was traveling southbound on I-435 when the driver passed into the northbound lanes near I-70 and hit a Chevy Cruze head-on. 

The driver of the Trax suffered minor injuries in the crash. Emergency responders transported the front-seat passenger of the Cruze to a nearby hospital where the victim later died from their injuries. Another passenger from the Cruze sustained non-life-threatening injuries. 

Kansas City Police are investigating the fatal crash for impaired driving. No further information has been released at this time.
