CRASH ALERT: DWI DRIVER INJURES PEDESTRIAN IN KNOB NOSTER

KNOB NOSTER, MO - A DWI driver struck and injured a pedestrian in Knob Noster early Saturday morning. According to the accident report, the collision occurred at 600 Southeast 130th Road at around 1:28 a.m.

A 49-year-old woman was driving east in a parking lot when she struck a 42-year-old man who was lying on the ground. The suspect fled the scene but was picked up by police at around 3:17 a.m. and arrested for driving while intoxicated and leaving the scene of a serious accident.

The pedestrian suffered severe injuries in the crash and was transported to Research Medical Center for treatment.
