VEHICLE-PEDESTRIAN ACCIDENT IN KANSAS CITY KILLS ONE, INJURES ANOTHER

KANSAS CITY, MO -  Kansas City police report that one person was killed and another was severely injured in a vehicle-pedestrian accident on April 15th. The crash reportedly occurred at around 4:30 p.m. at West 98th Street and Wornall Road. A driver in a Dodge Avenger was heading northbound on Wornall Road when the two pedestrians were hit. 

The deceased was identified as 83-year-old Theodore W. Schroeder. The name of the second pedestrian, a 79-year-old woman, has not yet been released. According to The Kansas City Star, she was transported to a local hospital where she remains in stable condition. 

The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. The crash is still under investigation, and our team will continue to monitor this developing story.
