
CRASH ALERT: SUSPECT IN FATAL HIT-AND-RUN SURRENDERS TO POLICE
KANSAS CITY, MO - The suspected driver in a fatal hit-and-run collision Sunday has turned themselves into police custody, KCTV reports.
According to Kansas City police, a black Ford Focus struck and killed Zahara Kathawalla, 23, as she was crossing 43rd and Main Streets. The Focus was one of two vehicles engaged in an illegal street race, and was found abandoned several blocks from the incident.
Police have not announced the suspect's name.
