Learn with a Lawyer - Make people comfortable telling you their problems.
Be a person that other people are comfortable, in bringing their problems or issues too, and talking to. As a family law lawyer people come to me on their worst days and bring me information that is hard to repeat. I must try to make sure that those people feel comfortable with me and can have honest and candid conversations with me about their situations and their cases. I try to have this translate in my real life too, outside of work. To make sure that I am an advocate for my friends and if I see somebody in need, that I know that they know they can reach out to me and be a sounding board.
