Learn with a Lawyer - Learn the difference between "Optimism" and "Reality"!
Learn the difference between optimism and reality. One thing that I am faced with daily, is preparing my clients for what to expect during the litigation and divorce process. I am always honest with my clients and I set them in a basis of reality. I let them know this what could happen “bad” for your case, and this is what could happen ”good” for your case. I don’t try to tell my clients what they want to hear simply because it is easier in the moment. It’s always better to prepare people for the realistic outcome of situations, than get people very excited for the most optimistic outcome. It's always easier to call somebody and give them good news, rather than bad news. If you set people's expectations in a base of reality, they’re always easier to deal with, than if you’ve been overly optimistic with someone.
