CRASH ALERT: 2 INJURED IN SEMI-TRUCK COLLISION IN WEST KANSAS CITY

KANSAS CITY, KS - Two people were injured in a three-vehicle accident last Thursday evening. According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, the collision occurred on Interstate 70 at around 3:55 p.m.

A 47-year-old woman was traveling eastbound in a 2014 Chevy pickup truck when she collided with the back of a 2016 Freightliner semi truck. The Chevy then careened into a nearby 2018 Honda CRV, traveled across the lanes, and finally hit the inside barrier wall.

47-year-old Sonya Smith suffered an unspecified minor injury in the collision and was transported to Providence Hospital. 31-year-old Amanda Nolasco, the driver of the Honda, also complained of pain after the accident.
