CRASH ALERT: TWO PEOPLE INJURED IN REAR-END CRASH ON I-635

KANSAS CITY, MO - Two people were injured in a rear-end accident in Kansas City on Saturday afternoon. According to the Wyandotte Daily traffic report, the collision occurred on southbound Interstate 635 near Parallel Parkway at 3:25 p.m.

A 42-year-old woman was driving a Hyundai Sonata in the southbound lanes when she slowed to avoid road debris. The Ford Escape traveling behind the Sonota was unable to stop in time and crashed into the Sonata's rear-end. 

Both the 64-year-old driver of the Ford and the 17-year-old passenger of the Hyundai suffered injuries in the crash. They were transported to the hospital for treatment.
