CRASH ALERT: TWO PEOPLE INJURED AFTER SERIES OF CRASHES ON U.S. 71

KANSAS CITY, MO - Two people were hospitalized after a vehicle collision and pedestrian crash on Sunday morning. According to KCTV News, the series of accidents occurred on U.S. 71 and Red Bridge Road just after 3 a.m.

A Chevrolet SUV was traveling northbound on U.S. 71 when it collided with an Audi sedan. The Chevrolet driver had gotten out of his vehicle and was walking alongside the roadway when a BMW sedan struck him.

Medics transported the victim to a nearby hospital for treatment of serious injuries. The BMW driver was also transported to the hospital with less severe injuries. The driver of the Audi was not injured in the first accident.
