Roth Davies, LLC Media July 13, 2020

OVERLAND PARK, KS - A three-vehicle injury crash occurred Saturday morning at around 11:10 a.m. in Overland Park.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, three vehicles were traveling northbound on Interstate 35 when traffic stopped for an upcoming traffic collision. Wendy Davis, driving a 2007 Chevy Cobalt, was unable to slow her vehicle in time and crashed into a 2008 Chevy Impala. The Chevy Impala, driven by Donald Hammond, then crashed into the 2017 Toyota RAV4 in front of him.

Neither Gary Bond, the driver of the Toyota, or Wendy Davis were injured in the collision. Hammond sustained injuries in the accident and transported himself to a nearby hospital for treatment. The extent of Hammond's injuries is unknown at this time.

All three vehicles were damaged in the crash and had to be towed off the highway.
