CRASH ALERT: ONE PERSON KILLED IN HEAD-ON ACCIDENT IN SOUTH KANSAS CITY

KANSAS CITY, MO - One person was killed in a head-on accident yesterday morning in South Kansas City. According to the Kansas City Star, the deadly collision occurred at Newton Avenue and East 87th Street at around 2 a.m.

A grey Pontiac was traveling eastbound on 87th Street at high speed, crossed the yellow lines into the westbound lanes, and crashed head-on with a white Chevrolet Suburban. 

The driver of the Pontiac and the Chevrolet driver were both seriously injured in the accident and transported to a local hospital. The Pontiac driver later died from his injuries.
