CRASH ALERT: MOTORCYCLIST KILLED IN ACCIDENT IN SOUTHERN LEAVENWORTH COUNTY

BONNER SPRINGS, KS - A motorcyclist was killed in a collision with another vehicle on Friday afternoon. According to the Leavenworth Times, the deadly crash happened at the intersection of Kansas 32 Highway and 158th Street at around 2:44 p.m.

43-year-old William P. Gibbs was traveling westbound on Kansas 32 on his 1984 Yamaha XV700. A 2011 Toyota Venza was stopped at the intersection of K-32 and 158th Street when the driver pulled out in front of the motorcycle. 

The motorcycle slid under the passenger side of the Toyota. 

Leavenworth County EMS pronounced Gibbs dead at 3 p.m. The driver and occupants of the Toyota were all uninjured in the crash.
