Crash Alert: 68-year-old man injured in five-vehicle crash in Overland Park

OVERLAND PARK, KS - A 68-year-old man was injured in a five-vehicle crash yesterday morning in a construction zone in Overland Park. According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, the collision occurred on Interstate 35 south of 75th Street at around 8:30 a.m.

A 2008 Pontiac and a 2006 Chevrolet were traveling southbound on I-35 when they collided for unknown reasons. Subsequentially, a 2017 BMW, a 2003 Honda, and a 2000 Honda all crashed into the wreckage of the first collision. The exact details surrounding the accident have yet to be released.

The 68-year-old driver of the 2000 Honda suffered injuries and was transported to Advent Health for treatment.
