CRASH ALERT: 45-YEAR-OLD PEDESTRIAN KILLED IN HIT-AND-RUN ACCIDENT

KANSAS CITY, MO - A 45-year-old man was killed last night in a hit-and-run accident. According to the Kansas City Star, the fatal accident occurred near the intersection of East 57th Street and Swope Parkway at around 8:25 p.m.

The pedestrian was walking across the northbound lanes of traffic when he was hit by a dark-colored SUV or crossover vehicle. The suspect then fled the scene. 

No further information about the accident has been released to the public.
